Minutes of AGM at Peppes Sat 6th June 2009

 

 

Chairman Introduction

 

§    The Chairman thanked all those who attended.

 

Treasurers Report

§      The treasurer’s report was accepted,

§       Proposed by  Ziff    and Seconded by.Doc

 

 

Memberships, Bus Fares

 

§    It was agreed to change the membership fee £15, £5 for unemployed / students and Free for under 16’s. You may qualify for a discount of £2 for each new member who you introduce. As always memberships are to be paid as soon as possible.

§    We are happy to continue with Mackies of Alloa.

§    You must pay full fare even if you only travel one way on the bus

 

Bus fares are to be:                 Members                                 £10

                                                Non Members                         £10

                                                Unemployed / Students          £6

                                                Age 11-16                               £6

                                                Age 10 and Under                  £Nil

 

 

The pickup points are Snooker Club-Alloa, Inn-Tullibody, Hollytree-Menstrie, Alva, Tillicoultry, and Stirling Miners Welfare.

Match Tickets (Away Games)

 

These rules will be strictly enforced.

 

§    As per last season all names for tickets will go with the club register. When a draw has to be made you must say if you are able to go. If you are unsure or are not on the bus when the draw is made then you have until 4 days before the game to speak to Robert Connor

§    The draw will also be posted on the Web-site www.roymilnecsc.net.

 

§    If your name is on the list and you do not turn up then the club will take a £5 fine.

 

§    If your name is on the list further down it is up to you to telephone / email and find out if any one has dropped out.

 

§    If you do not phone /email and the club is left with the ticket you will still have to pay for your ticket.

 

§    If a seat is booked on another bus and you cant go you still have to pay for seat

 

§    Once you have taken a ticket it is your ticket .if the game is cancelled for any reason it still your ticket and if you cant ,make the rearranged game it is your responsibility to either pay the club for the ticket or get somebody else to take the ticket and come up on the posse bus

 

§    There is one away register this counts for all games

 

§    Tony Smith will help Rab out when Rab is offshore

Season Tickets

 

The following applies as per previous seasons.

 

§    If you are unable to attend a home game and you wish your season ticket to be used by someone else you must telephone Rab to let him know.

 

§    If you wish to collect money for this ticket then the onus is on you to collect the money.

 

§    Otherwise if you have not nominated someone to take your ticket then if it is sold on the bus then the money goes to the club. The cost will be £15.

 

§    Similarly if (as was previous seasons) there is a run of away games you must keep in contact with Rab to say if you can or cannot go.

 

§    If anyone requires extra tickets for Home Games please let Rab know at least 4 weeks in advance and they would be required to travel on the bus.

Any Other Business

 

 

§    Ideas for social outings and ways to raise money for the club

 

  1. Games day £300 ,Next June and have AGM at the same time
  2. Kenny setting up and running Fantasy Football league
  3. Jock to start and run the 21 goals

 

 

§    There will be new Posse Merchandise this year and when it becomes available we will also be selling on the Net. As we have had a few enquiry’s about this already

 

 

§    As you will all be aware the Posse Web Site is up and running www.roymilnecsc.net. . We are looking for input on the site so any Posse member with ideas / old photos get in touch.

§    We will also be doing correct score sheets at the 2 home ****ers games this year, every member must sell £10 worth if not then they must put a donation of £10 towards the costs.

 

 

 

Sponsorship

During the year we have made the following sponsorship contributions

1.    The Kevin Meldrum Memorial Football Match - £100. We will continue to sponsor this event every year.

 

Any requests for sponsorship should be made in writing to any committee member by the 31st of May 2010 giving a small outline of the sponsorship. The requests will then be debated at our AGM.

 

Any requests under £50 during the season the committee will decide.
